Curry or known in Indonesia as curry is the name for various types of soupy dishes cooked with spices to have a sharp and spicy taste. Curry originated in South Asia, especially from India which has spread to all countries in the Asia Pacific region and Europe.

Curry Roux Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter/margarine
- 5 tbsp wheat flour
- 1 tbsp curry seasoning
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- Chili powder according to taste (I skipped)
How to make
- 1. Melt the butter/margarine, add the flour, stir until it becomes lumpy, continue to stir over low heat until the butter and flour are melted again and continue to stir until they are light brown
- 2. Enter the garam masala, curry powder, stir again for 30 seconds, turn off the heat, the seasoning is ready to use
Japanese Curry Rice Ingredients
- 350 gr beef that has been boiled tender (optional)
- 2 pcs sliced carrots
- 2 pcs diced potatoes
- 1 pc of Bombay, cut into large pieces
- 4 pcs minced garlic
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbs soy sauce (I use lea n perrins)
- 10 gr dark cooking chocolate
- 2 tbsp kikkoman salted kcp
- 2 tbsp mirin (halal: honey/sugar)
- 800-900 ml of water
- Sugar, salt, powdered broth
How to Cook
- 1. Saute garlic, onion and bay leaf until fragrant, add water, potatoes and carrots
- 2. Enter the curry roux, soy sauce, soy sauce, chocolate block, mirin, salt, sugar, stock powder, stir until dissolved and smooth, cook until the gravy thickens, serve
