Sapo Tofu Ear Mushroom

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of tofu / silken tofu (cut into 2 then fry briefly, set aside)
  • Ear mushroom @RichManBrand
  • Peeled Shrimp (optional)
  • 1/2 part medium size carrot
  • 4 green beans
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 big red chili
  • 1/2 part onion
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 piece ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Enough water
  • To taste salt, pepper powder, sugar & mushroom broth

Thickener

  • 1 Tbsp Maizena Dissolve with 2 Tbsp Water

How to cook

  • 1. Soak the Ear Mushrooms in hot water for about 10 minutes, drain, cut into 2
  • 2. Sauté the onions, garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add the carrots & beans, mix well
  • 3. Add water, add mushrooms & chilies, then shrimp
  • 4. Season with oyster sauce, soy sauce, and other spices, lastly add the chopped onion, mix well
  • 5. Thicken the gravy with cornstarch solution, stir well, cook until cooked, taste correction, remove and serve
