Ingredients

  • 500gr chicken fillet (I use boneless thighs) @primafreshmart
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder @koepoekoepoeid
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp Crispy Seasoning Flour (I use Kobe Crispy Kentucky) @dapurkobe
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • Enough cornstarch for coating

Salted Egg Sauce

  • 2 packs of Royco salted egg sauce @roycoindonesia
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 100gr butter/margarine
  • 4 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 3 lime leaves, torn

How to make

  • 1. Cut chicken according to taste, season with garlic powder, salt and pepper, mix well, add cornstarch and seasoning flour, mix well, pour beaten egg white, mix well and let stand for 10 minutes
  • 2. Roll the chicken pieces into the cornstarch then fry in hot oil until cooked and golden, remove and drain
  • 3. Sauce: heat butter in a frying pan, saute garlic, cayenne pepper and lime leaves until fragrant, add chicken royco in salted egg sauce, stir until frothy
  • 4. Enter the fried chicken, stir well, remove and serve.
