Ingredient

  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1/2 onion (pot2)
  • 1/4 red bell pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 green bell pepper (optional)
  • 18 shrimp balls (recipe below)
  • 15 quail eggs (boiled, peeled and deep fried)
  • 15 canned longan seeds (take about 1/2 can of meat)
  • Pickled cucumber and carrots to taste (recipe below)
  • 1/2 small honey pineapple (pot2)
  • 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp plum sauce
  • 1/2 tsp mushroom stock
  • Salt and sugar to taste (I didn't skip it because it tasted just right)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (dissolve with a little water for thickening)
  • enough oil

Ingredients for Shrimp Balls

  • 200 gr peeled prawns
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp sago flour
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1 tbsp myk sesame
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Method: chop the shrimp or chopper half coarsely, mix with other ingredients, round with the help of 2 spoons, then fry in hot oil until browned, set aside

Pickle Ingredients

  • 200 gr cucumber
  • 100 gr carrots
  • Method: thin cucumber pot / matchstick length, remove seeds, thin carrot pot / matchstick length, mix cucumber and carrots, season with 3 tablespoons sugar, a little salt, 1 tablespoon vinegar, let stand overnight (at least 1 hour), when you want to cook, squeeze the cucumber water and carrots, set aside the water later mixed into cooking

How to Cook Sweet and Sour

  • 1. Saute onion pth and onions until fragrant, add bell pepper and pineapple, saute for a while, add tomato sauce, plum sauce, stock powder and the rest of the water from the carrot cucumber pickle, add a little water, let it boil for a while
  • 2. Enter the prawn balls, quail eggs and longan, cook for a while, if the water is not enough, add water, let it boil, add the cornstarch solution, stir to test the taste, if it is not sweet/salty, you can add sugar/salt, if it is, turn off the heat.
  • 3. Enter the pickled cucumber and carrots, stir and ready to serve
