Ingredients

  • The skin of the taro stalk has been cleaned (I bought 2 pcs at the @5K market), cut into obliques about 6-7cm
  • 7 dried chilies, soak in hot water until soft (you can add more if you want it to be spicier), you can replace curly chilies
  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 handful of ebi, wash and soak in hot water
  • 1 tsp grilled shrimp paste
  • 1 tsp tamarind paste
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Less water

How to make

  • 1. Boil the taro sticks in boiling water until soft enough, drain.
  • 2. Puree the chili, duo onion, ebi, shrimp paste. Saute until fragrant.
  • 3. Enter the boiled taro sticks, add tamarind water, salt, sugar and a little water. Taste correction.
  • 4. Cook until boiling, remove and serve.
