Ingredient

  • -2 pcs purple eggplant, cut into 4
  • -2 tbsp thick coconut milk
  • -1 tsp brown sugar
  • -salt, mushroom broth to taste
  • -200ml water

Ground spices

  • -15 pcs cayenne pepper
  • -3 pcs curly chili
  • -3 cloves of bamer
  • -1 clove of baput
  • -1 thumb curd
  • -1/2 tsp shrimp paste

How to cook

  • - Steam the purple eggplant until soft, steam it so it's healthy, grill it better. It's okay to fry too 😂. taste yes, then set aside
  • -fry the ground spices until cooked, add brown sugar, salt, mushroom broth to taste
  • Add water, wait until it boils, then add thick coconut milk. keep stirring so that the coconut milk does not break until it boils again and the sauce thickens. immediately turn off the fire
  • -prepare a plate, put the eggplant on it, then flush with the pecak sauce. serve with salted fish, fried tempeh, MasyaAllah it's delicious
