Materials

  • Lontong to taste (I bought it at the market)
  • Sufficient fried onions

Jackfruit Vegetable Ingredients

  • 1/4 pc young jackfruit
  • 500 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • 1 segment of galangal
  • 1 lb bay leaf
  • To taste salt, sugar, powdered broth
  • Ground spices :
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 4 pcs red onions
  • 2 stalks of candlenut

Tofu Vegetable Ingredients

  • 10 pcs triangular tofu / fried tofu for vegetables
  • 1 segment of galangal
  • 1 lb bay leaf
  • 2 lbs lime leaves
  • 500 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • Sufficient cayenne pepper, whole
  • To taste salt, sugar, powdered broth

Ground spices

  • 2 tbsp fried prawns/ebi
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 5 pcs red onions
  • 3 sticks of candlenut
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander

How to make

  • * make jackfruit vegetables:
  • ~ Boil the jackfruit until soft, drain then uleg coarsely / mash.
  • ~ Transfer to a saucepan, mix with coconut milk and all the spices. Cook until the coconut milk shrinks a little, taste test, remove and set aside
  • * make vegetable tofu:
  • ~ saute ground spices until fragrant, add bay leaves, lime leaves and galangal. Saute until the spices are cooked
  • ~ add coconut milk, tofu and whole cayenne pepper. Cook until cooked and chili wilted, add salt, sugar and stock, taste test. Lift
  • * serving: put the pieces of rice cake in a plate, add tofu and jackfruit vegetables, sprinkle with fried onions to taste, serve
