Manado Temulawak Porridge

Ingredient

  • 100gr rice, wash clean
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 sweet corn, comb
  • 150gr pumpkin, steamed
  • Spinach leaf
  • 1 scallion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 lemongrass, bruised
  • 3 garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp TEMULAWAK POWDER
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp stock powder

Complementary

  • Basil
  • Salted fish
  • Chilli sauce

Method

  • • Add rice, pumpkin, sweet corn, water, cook in a slow cooker until soft.
  • • Saute minced garlic until fragrant, add TEMULAWAK POWDER, mix well.
  • Add to the porridge.
  • • Then add to the porridge as well as leeks, spinach and basil, salt, sugar and powdered stock, mix well, taste correction.
  • Remove and serve with accompaniments.
