Ingredient

  • 2 carp fish (just according to taste, fried, drained)
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Whole cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • Enough water

Subtle Seasoning Ingredients

  • 6 seeds bawmer
  • 3 cloves bawput
  • 1 segment of turmeric
  • 2 segments of galangal
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 – 2 segments kencur
  • 1 lemongrass stalk
  • enough cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 pecans (can skip)
  • A little nutmeg
  • 1/2 sachet (to taste) of shrimp paste

How to cook

  • - Saute ground spices until cooked / fragrant
  • -Add enough water, then add fried fish & whole cayenne pepper, season with salt/mushroom broth
  • -Cook until the water is slightly reduced, taste correction, lastly add basil leaves, serve
