Balinese Spiced Chicken

Ingredient

  • 250 gr chicken breast, boiled, shredded
  • 1 lemongrass
  • 2 cm galangal
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 lime leaves
  • 1 tbsp tamarind water
  • 35 ml instant coconut milk
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mushroom stock
  • 1 tsp mushroom stock
  • 100 ml water
  • Oil for frying

Ground spices

  • 6 cloves of red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 segment of turmeric
  • 2 cm kencur
  • 1/2 tsp shrimp paste
  • 10 pieces of red chili

How to make

  • 1. Heat oil, saute ground spices along with lemon grass, galangal, bay leaf and lime leaves. Cook until fragrant.
  • 2. Add the shredded chicken. Stir until well blended.
  • 3. Add coconut milk and water, add tamarind water, salt, brown sugar, granulated sugar and mushroom broth. Stir well. And cook until the water is reduced and slightly dry. Lift.
  • 4. Ready to serve
