Catfish Ingredients

  • – 500gr catfish
  • - salt
  • - turmeric powder
  • - coriander powder

Spice

  • – 4 red onions, sliced
  • – 4 garlic, sliced
  • – 15 green chilies, sliced ​​2
  • – 3 lime leaves @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • – 1 bay leaf @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • – 2 galangal @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • – 1/2 tsp coconut sugar @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • – 2 small green tomatoes, cut into 2
  • – 1 pack / 65 ml of instant coconut milk
  • – 750ml water
  • - salt, powdered broth to taste

Method

  • - wash catfish, marinate for 1 hour with salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder (I think the amount is ok)
  • - fried catfish, set aside
  • - heat enough oil, saute onion, garlic until fragrant
  • - add green chilies, stir fry
  • – add bay leaves, lime leaves, galangal from @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • - pour water and coconut milk
  • – boil, add catfish and green tomatoes
  • – add salt, powdered stock and coconut sugar @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • - reduce the heat, cook until absorbed
  • - check the taste and ready to serve
