Pempek Dos / Grilled Sago
Ingredients
- 125 gr wheat flour
- 50 gr rice flour
- 250 gr sago flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and seasoning to taste
- 500 cc of boiling hot water
Stuffing
- – Dried shrimp/ebi roasted and puree
- – Ground cayenne pepper
- - sweet soy sauce
The method
- 1. Mix flour and rice flour, salt and seasoning until smooth.
- 2. Pour boiling hot water, little by little while stirring until blended.
- 3. Enter the egg, mix well, and add the sago, knead and mix well. (The texture is a bit sticky, don't add sago, the final pempek will be sticky)
- 4. Grease your hands with sago then take a little round shape dough, slightly flatten it, do it until the dough runs out.
- 5. Bake the pempek in a pan over low to medium heat until the pempek is cooked, turning it occasionally.
- 6. Do not split the pempek until it breaks and then add the filling.
