Soy Sauce Chicken

Ingredient

  • 1/2 kg of chicken meat (me: the breast, to be precise, the chicken breastbone)
  • 1/2 an onion
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger finger cut into small pieces / can be crushed too
  • 1 piece of curly red chili / big red chili
  • 2 pieces of cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, pre-cut oblique
  • A little water
  • To taste pepper powder & sugar
  • Salt / mushroom broth (me: skip)

  • 4 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 -1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chili sauce (optional)

How to cook

  • Unkep chicken, then fry 1/2 cooked (can be without fried ungkep, just adjust to taste)
  • Sauté the onions until slightly wilted then add the garlic, ginger, chilies, stir-fry until fragrant
  • Add the fried chicken, add the sauce, mix well, add water
  • Add pepper powder & gulpas, I skipped the salt/mushroom broth because the sauce ingredients already got a taste of salt/mushroom broth
  • Cook until the water shrinks & absorbs, then add the chopped onions, stir, remove & serve
