Ingredients for Spiced Eggs

  • - 6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
  • – 3 lbs of lime leaves + 1 lbs of bay leaves

  • – 275 ml of water (to taste)
  • – 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • – 2 tbsp shrimp paste
  • – 1 tsp palm sugar powder / brown sugar
  • – sugar, salt, pepper, to taste

Ground spices

  • – 5 cloves of red bw
  • – 3 cloves of white bw
  • – 3 round hazelnuts
  • – a small thumb of ginger
  • – 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

How to Make Spiced Eggs Petis

  • - Heat a little oil, add the ground spices, lemongrass, lime leaves and bay leaves, meeting the key. Saute until fragrant and the spices are cooked
  • Pour water, then add the shrimp paste and 2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
