Ingredients for Pindang Fish with Tauco Seasoning

  • 2 pindang fish (cleaned, fried, set aside)
  • 2-3 tbsp tauco
  • 6 grains of bawmer
  • 3 cloves bawput
  • 1 for tomato
  • 2 large red chilies
  • 5 green chilies
  • 2 pieces of red chili
  • 1 finger ginger (geprek)
  • 2 pieces of bay leaves @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • 1 segment of galangal finger @edelweiss_umbuindo
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • To taste sugar, salt & pepper powder
  • Enough water

How to Cook Pindang Fish with Tauco Seasoning

  • Saute the onions, add the bay leaf, galangal & ginger, stir-fry until fragrant
  • Add chili & tomatoes, saute until wilted, add tauco, sweet soy sauce, salt, sugar & pepper
  • Add water, mix well, add fried pindang fish, cook until the spices are absorbed, taste correction, if it is cooked, remove - serve
