Chicken Gizzard Balado Ingredients

  • 250 Gr Chicken Gizzard (Marinate with Lime, Salt and Pepper Powder to taste)

Spices

  • 10 cloves of red onion (small onions, if you have big onions, you can only use 5 cloves)
  • 1 large red chili
  • 15 pcs red curly chili (according to taste)
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 block brown sugar (about 50 g)

Other Seasonings

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp broth powder

How to Make Chicken Gizzard Balado

  • 1. Wash the gizzard then marinate with lime juice, salt and sugar.
  • 2. After that, wash the gizzard again and fry it until half cooked
  • 3. Boil red onions, large chilies and curly chilies so that they are easy to grind
  • 4. Once soft, remove and then grind the spices together with coriander and brown sugar. (to make it easier to grind at the beginning, add some salt)
  • 5. Saute the spices with enough oil
  • 6. Enter the salt and mushroom broth, then stir evenly
  • 7. Enter the gizzard, then give enough water. Stir well until the gizzard and spices are evenly mixed
  • 8. Let the water sit for a while then correct the taste and remove it
  • 9. Serve while warm
