crabstick and mushroom soup

Ingredients

  • 6 crabsticks, shredded
  • 2 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked in water, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg beaten off
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 cm. ginger
  • 1 leek, separate white and green
  • Powdered broth
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Cornstarch solution

Method

  • 1. Sauté the onion, ginger, and garlic leaves until fragrant.
  • 2. Add mushrooms, saute briefly.
  • 3. Pour enough water, after boiling add the crabstick and spices, bring to a boil again.
  • 4. Thicken with cornstarch solution.
  • 5. Slowly pour in the eggs while continuing to stir.
  • 6. Bring to a boil again, before being removed, add the spring onions and sesame oil
