Japanese Chickhen Katsu

Ingredient

  • 2 pcs chicken breast fillet, wash and dry with a kitchen towel
  • 5 tbsp wheat flour
  • 5 tbsp bread flour
  • 1 egg

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp fine white pepper @lemonilo
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder @lemonilo
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper @lemonilo
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp mushroom stock powder

Teriyaki Sauce (Or Can Be Purchased)

  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • Mix all ingredients together

Method

  • Marinate the chicken with a little pepper and salt, set aside
  • -cut the chicken breast into 3 parts then thin it by beating until it's thin
  • - mix the spices into the flour stir until blended
  • Dip chicken in flour then dip in egg, dip back in breadcrumbs
  • -Fry over medium heat that is hot until it turns golden brown
  • -serve with white rice and flush with sauce.. good luck
