Ingredients

  • 500 gr mackerel mashed
  • 1 sachet of coconut milk (I use Kara)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 140 gr sago flour
  • 10 gr cornstarch
  • salt sugar pepper to taste
  • 5 cloves of garlic, 8 pieces of crushed red onion (I entered the chopper)
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced
  • 4 small ice cubes
  • Enough banana leaves to wrap

How to cook

  • 1. Grind the fish until smooth together with ice cubes and egg white, set aside
  • 2. Put the onion and garlic into the chopper until smooth
  • 3. Mix the onion grinder with the fish, mix it with the sugar, salt and pepper then add the scallions
  • 4. Enter the sago and cornstarch, mix well.
  • 5. Remove from chopper, mix well with coconut milk.
  • 6. Wrap the dough with banana leaves, each 1 tablespoon of dough. Pin the stick.
  • 7. Steam the brain until cooked about 30 minutes, set aside.
  • 8. If you want to enjoy it, grill it on the grill or you can use charcoal. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
