Ingredient

  • 1 pack macaroni (225 grams)
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp lime leaf powder ready to use
  • 200 gr crispy chicken flour
  • 1 liter of oil for frying
  • 100 gr grated cheddar cheese

How to make

  • 1. Place the cheese on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper or baking paper. Bake at 180'c until brown and fragrant. Remove and cool.
  • 2. Boil macaroni until cooked, remove and drain.
  • 3. Prepare a container with a lid.
  • Put the flour in a bowl, then add the macaroni. Cover the bowl tightly and shake it so that the flour sticks to the macaroni.
  • 4. Heat the oil, add the macaroni and fry for 10 minutes. After that reduce the fire. Fry until brown.
  • 5. Remove and cool.
  • 6. Prepare a container then add macaroni, grilled cheese, lime leaves and chili powder. Cover the container and shake until all the spices are mixed.
  • 7. For variants, you can add fresh kaffir lime leaves during the frying process on low heat.
