Sambal Pete Quail Gizzard

Materials

  • 12 gizzards, wash thoroughly
  • 12 quail eggs, boiled and peeled
  • 2 plantains, peeled and halved
  • glass of water
  • Powdered broth to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 20 pieces of curly red chili
  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • tomato

How to make

  • 1. Boil the gizzard with bay leaves and lime leaves to taste until cooked.. Then cut into 3 parts
  • 2. Fry the quail eggs until they are crusty, remove and set aside.. Then fry the gizzards until they are dry.. Remove and set aside
  • 3. Heat the oil, stir-fry the ground spices until fragrant.. Then add the bananas and stir-fry again until fragrant and cooked
  • 4. Add quail eggs and gizzard.. Then add water, powdered broth, and salt.. Stir well
  • 5. Cook until the spices absorb and shrink.. Check the taste, if it's just right.. Remove and serve
