Ingredients

  • 300 grams of fresh prawns cleaned
  • Potatoes or sweetcorn (optional)

Ground spices

  • 10 pcs red bwg
  • 10 pcs white bwg
  • 3 cm ginger (1 big thumb)
  • 10 pcs curly chili
  • 5 pcs cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 5 pcs candlenut

Additional Seasoning

  • 5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 10 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 5 lbs lime leaves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 stalks lemongrass geprek
  • 2 eggs beaten off
  • Salt, sugar, broth powder to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Enough water

Method

  • Puree the ground spices (I use a blender), stir-fry and add the cemplung leaves, stir until fragrant..
  • Enter the oyster sauce & tomato sauce, add enough water, salt, sugar & broth powder..
  • after boiling, add the eggs, stir, then add the prawns, boil until the spices are absorbed and the water shrinks a bit..
  • taste test, lift and serve..
