Cob Balado

cob balado

Ingredient

  • 700 gr tuna, cut according to taste
  • 1 pc lime
  • 2 lbs lime leaves
  • 1 cm galangal crushed
  • 1 tbsp tamarind water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Brown sugar, salt, mushroom broth, water to taste

Ground spices

  • 15 pcs curly red chili
  • 15 pcs cayenne pepper
  • 2 pcs medium size tomatoes
  • 7 cloves of red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic

The method

  • 1. Wash the cob pieces and then steal them with lime a little salt, stir, let stand 10 minutes then rinse with clean water, drain
  • 2. Fry the tuna until cooked, remove and drain, set aside. Saute the ground spices until fragrant, add the lime leaves, galangal, stir well
  • 3. Pour enough water, add salt, mushroom broth, brown sugar, granulated sugar, tamarind water, mix well. Cook the spices until cooked, adjust the taste
  • 4. Enter the fried cobs, stir well, remove and serve with warm rice
