Ingredients

  • 2 tilapia (700gr)
  • 2 red chilies
  • 10 cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cucumbers (I used 1)
  • 1 lemongrass
  • 5 lime leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 fingers of galangal, crushed
  • 1/2 lime (can be replaced with 1 tablespoon vinegar)
  • Salt and mushroom broth to taste
  • 300 ml of boiled water

Ground spices

  • 7 cloves of red onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 4 pecans
  • 3 cm roasted turmeric (I use 1 tsp powder)
  • 1 cm ginger (forgot not to use 😂)

Step

  • • Clean the tilapia then add lime and salt, turmeric powder. Let stand for a while then fry.
  • • Cut the carrots and cucumbers lengthwise like matchsticks. set aside
  • • Saute ground spices until fragrant and cooked, add lime leaves, salam, lemongrass, galangal, and water. Enter the wartel, cucumber, red chilies, cayenne pepper, cook until the wartel is soft, then test the taste when it is right, add the fish, stir briefly and it's ready to be served
