Ingredients

  • 500 gr catfish fillet / mackerel, finely
  • 250 gr sago flour
  • 125 ml coconut milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves of red onion, finely
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely
  • Sugar, salt, pepper and powdered broth to taste

Cuko gravy

  • 150 gr brown sugar
  • 150 ml water
  • 8 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • (Mix all ingredients, cook until boiling, remove from heat)

How to make

  • 1. Mix all Pempek ingredients, stir and knead until smooth. The result of the dough is mushy.
  • 2. In another container, take enough dough, give a little sago flour.
  • 3. Coat your hands with sago flour, take a little dough, shape it flat (if it's still sticky, you can coat it with flour again)
  • 4. Fry half cooked, remove and drain. Once cool, cut according to taste.
  • 5. Fry again until crisp, remove and drain. Serve with cuko sauce.
