Tempeh Oseng Ingredients

  • – 1 tempeh board
  • – 6 long beans
  • – 5 red onions, sliced
  • – 3 garlic, sliced
  • – 1 piece of galangal
  • – 1 bay leaf
  • – 3 red chilies
  • – 3 cayenne pepper
  • - sweet soy sauce (forgot to measure it, just think it's according to taste)
  • – 1 tsp brown sugar
  • – 50ml water
  • - salt, powdered broth to taste

How to Make Oseng Tempe

  • - cut tempeh, fry until golden yellow, remove and set aside
  • - fry the long beans until they start to wilt, remove and set aside
  • - saute onion and garlic until fragrant
  • - add chilies and mix well
  • - add galangal and bay leaf, stir
  • - pour 50 ml of water
  • - add brown sugar, sweet soy sauce, salt, powdered broth to taste
  • - after boiling, add tempeh and long beans
  • - use a low heat, cook until it's a recipe
  • – taste check
