Soto Sokaraja Ingredients

  • 300 gr beef, sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, crushed
  • 2 segments of galangal, gerek
  • 1 segment of ginger, crushed
  • Salt & sugar to taste
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • 1 scallion, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • Enough water
  • Oil for frying

Ground spices

  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 pecans

Peanut sauce

  • 150 gr roasted peanuts
  • 5 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • Salt & brown sugar to taste
  • 1 clove of fried garlic
  • (Mix all ingredients & puree, add a little water)

Complementary

  • Short bean sprouts
  • Soun that has been boiled
  • Sweet soy sauce
  • Lime
  • Peanut sauce
  • Aci/starch crackers
  • The diamond
  • Fried onions

How to Make Soto Sokaraja

  • 1. Saute ground spices until cooked, add water. After boiling, add the meat, salt, sugar, bay leaf, lemon grass, galangal, ginger, scallions & celery, stir. Cook until meat is tender.
  • 2. Serve with accompaniments.
