Chicken Charsiu

Ingredient

  • 500 gr chicken thigh/chicken breast fillet
  • Lime & salt
  • wash the chicken, thinly coated & salt, let stand 20 minutes, wash again and then dry with kitchen tissue

Marinated Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp english sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ngohiong powder
  • 1 tbsp. soaked in hot water, puree

Stir-fry Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

Method

  • Coat the chicken with the marinated spices, let it rest for 2 hours in the refrigerator (I let it sit over night)
  • saute chicken on teflon with sesame oil, add other spices.. add a little water, cook until the water shrinks, remove the sesame sprinkles and serve warm
