Cireng Spicy Rice Sauce

Ingredients

  • 350 gr white rice, puree
  • 125 gr tapioca flour
  • 150 ml hot water
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely
  • 1 scallion
  • Salt, pepper powder and stock powder to taste

Spicy Soup

  • 3 cloves of red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 10 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 7 pieces of curly chili
  • 50 gr Java sugar
  • Salt, sugar and powdered broth

Spice Rujak

  • 100 gr brown sugar
  • enough chili
  • 1 tbsp tamarind
  • Enough warm water
  • pinch of salt
  • (Mix all ingredients, knead until smooth, add warm water, stir and ready to serve)

How to make

  • 1. Mix all ingredients, stir until well blended. Coat your hands with tapioca flour, take 1 tablespoon of dough, form a flat round shape. Fry until dry and cooked, remove and drain.
  • 2. Spicy Sauce: saute ground spices until fragrant, add enough water, add Javanese sugar, granulated sugar, salt and powdered stock, cook until boiling, remove from heat.
  • 3. Presentation: prepare a serving plate, arrange the cireng, pour the spicy sauce (give lime juice, if you like) or serve it with rujak seasoning.
