What is Gacoan Noodles?
Reporting from the miegacoan.com website, Mie Gacoan is a trade mark of the noodle restaurant network which is a subsidiary of PT Perennial Orgy. Mie Gacoan was founded in early 2016 and now there are more than 20 branches spread across West Java, Central Java, East Java and the Bali Islands.

Ingredient
- Enough egg noodles
- 1 scallion, finely sliced
- Fried onions
- 25 pieces of cayenne pepper, boiled and coarsely ground (sambal)

Chicken Oil
- 150 ml cooking oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 slices of ginger
- 100 gr chicken skin
Chicken Topping
- 400 gr chicken fillet, puree
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 onion
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Sugar, salt, pepper and powdered broth to taste
How to make
- 1. Chicken oil: mix all ingredients, fry until dry, strain and set aside.
- 2. Chicken topping: saute garlic and onion until fragrant, add ground chicken, cook until it changes color.
- 3. Pour in the water, add sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and powdered stock. Cook until dry, remove. Once warm, Chopper chicken until smooth, set aside.
- 4. Fried Dumplings: take a piece of dumpling skin, add 1 tablespoon of chicken filling, brush the edges of the skin with water, fold and shape according to taste (you can see in the video), fry until brown, remove.
- 5. Boil water until boiling, add egg noodles, cook until cooked, remove and drain.
- 6. Serving: put in a bowl, boiled noodles, 2 tablespoons, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, oyster sauce, powdered broth and chili sauce to taste. Stir well.
- Top with chicken, fried onions, scallions and fried dumplings. Ready to be served.
