Ingredient

  • 200 ml white UHT milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt or instant flavoring
  • 60 grams of instant powdered mashed potatoes (sachets)
  • 100 ml water
  • 6 grams of plain jelly or powdered gelatin
  • 50 ml of warm water
  • 20 grams of margarine

How to make

  • 1. Dissolve milk and salt. Set aside.
  • 2. Stir the mashed potato powder with 100 ml of water, stir until smooth. Set aside. Dissolve jelly and warm water.
  • 3. Cook the milk over medium heat until it boils, add the potato mixture, stir briefly. Immediately add the jelly solution, stir briefly. Finally add margarine. Stir the dough until thick and can be formed.
  • 4. Divide into several colors, put into a piping bag and a flower-shaped syringe over the rice that has been shaped.
  • Tips :
  • ~ The dough must be thick but not hard, the important thing is that it can be formed.
  • ~ The jelly solution must be immediately put into the dough, it should not be exposed to room temperature so it doesn't clot
  • - the type of rice used can be uduk rice, kebuli rice, white rice. So that the rice is easy to shape and doesn't fall apart, add 10% glutinous rice to the rice when it is cooked.
  • - can be applied to pasta or other dishes as an alternative decoration.
