Ingredients for Tuna Rendang

  • 2 tuna fish (1kg) wash thoroughly, I love the lime and salt, let stand 30 minutes then wash again, finally steamed until cooked, after cold remove the spines
  • 100gr grated coconut (oseng until dry then finely blended)
  • Coconut milk from 1 coconut (sy 400 ml thick coconut milk)
  • Brown sugar
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Ground spices

  • 10 pcs red chili (me: 15 pcs) if you want it spicy, you can add more cayenne pepper
  • 10 cloves of red onion
  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • 4 pcs candlenut
  • 3cm ginger
  • 3cm turmeric (me: 1/2 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder (me: 1 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder

Complementary Seasoning

  • Lemongrass (me: 1 stick)
  • Galangal (me: 1 segment)
  • D. oranges (me: 5 sheets)
  • D. greetings (me: 3 sheets)
  • Cinnamon (me: 2cm)
  • Cloves (me: 2 seeds)
  • Kandis acid (me: 1 pc)

How to Make Tuna Rendang

  • Saute the ground spices add all the complementary spices and mix well
  • Enter the fish meat, brown sugar then pour the coconut milk stir well
  • Reduce the heat, let it slowly boil, lastly add the salt and sugar, stir well and cook until cooked
