Homemade Chicken Tofu Curry

Ingredients

  • free-range chicken
  • 20 small tofu pong
  • 1 pack (65 ml) instant coconut milk
  • 800 ml water
  • 10 pieces of red chili
  • 1 tbsp rendang cooking seasoning
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 lime leaves
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Powdered broth to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 10 pieces of curly red chili
  • 8 cloves of red onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 segments of turmeric
  • 2 grains of roasted hazelnut
  • 1 tsp roasted coriander

How to make

  • 1. Saute ground spices, rendang cooking spices, bay leaves, and lime leaves until fragrant
  • 2. Enter the chicken and stir until it changes color
  • 3. Add water and red cayenne pepper and cook until it boils
  • 4. Add salt, sugar, and powdered broth.. Check the taste, if it's just right.. Cook until the chicken is tender then add the tofu pong, stir and cook until it boils again
  • 5. Finally, add thick coconut milk, then stir and cook until it boils
  • 6. Turn off the heat, remove and serve
