Soup Ingredients

  • 500 gr beef (I use the ankle), pressure, reserving about 2 liters of gravy

  • a pinch of pepper powder
  • sugar, salt to taste
  • 3 cloves

Empal Ingredients

Sambal Ingredients

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 10 pieces of red chili
  • a pinch of salt and sugar

How to cook

  • 1. Sauté the onion, garlic until fragrant, add the cloves, cardamom and star anise
  • 2. Enter the carrots, give a little gravy, wait for it to boil
  • 3. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and pepper, mix well, taste correction
  • 4. Just before serving, put in the dry immediately, remove it when it is soft.
  • 5. Fry the garlic and cayenne pepper in a small amount of oil
  • 6. Roughly grind, add a little salt and sugar
  • 7. Pour in the hot oil and mix well
  • 8. Grind the empal seasoning, add a little water, set aside
  • 9. Pound the boiled meat, be careful not to break it
  • 10. Marinate with the spices, fry in medium oil, not too dry so that it is not tough. Remove, shredded, add fried red onion
  • 11. Serve with white rice, soup, empal and chili sauce
