Ingredient

  • 1 kg / 425 gr Sardines @bantan.id , separate the fish and the sauce
  • 3 pcs Eggplant
  • 1 clove of Onion, thinly sliced ​​round
  • 3 lbs Jeruk Leaves, torn
  • 7 pcs cayenne pepper, sliced ​​oblique (adjust the spiciness)
  • 2 Petai boards
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • Salt, Sugar and Mushroom Broth to taste
  • Right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 10 pcs Shallots
  • 15 pcs curly chili

How to make

  • 1. Cut the eggplant according to taste, then fry half tender with a little oil. Lift & drain
  • 2. Heat cooking oil, saute ground spices until fragrant. Enter the lime leaves, saute the spices until cooked (the color turns a bit dark)
  • 3. Enter the onion & petai, stir briefly. Enter the sardine sauce, ground pepper, salt and sugar (if the gravy is not enough, you can add water). Stir well & cook until boiling
  • 4. Enter the eggplant, sliced ​​​​cayenne pepper & mushroom broth. Stir well, taste correction
  • 5. Finally add the sardines, stir gently for a while (so that the sardines are not crushed). Remove, arrange on a serving plate. Sprinkle with fried onions.
