Ingredients

  • 225 gr macaroni elbow @pastabisa (boil aldente, set aside)
  • 250 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour
  • 5 Raw Salted Eggs / Duck Eggs
  • Tomatoes
  • Basil leave
  • ramekin pan 18x18cm

Spice

  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Galangal (geprek)
  • Serei (geprek)
  • Ginger (thinly sliced²)
  • Salt, sugar, pepper, mushroom broth to taste

How to make

  • 1. Saute all the spices until wilted and fragrant
  • 2. Enter the flour, stir briefly, then add the coconut milk. Stir well until thickened, add salt, sugar, pepper, mushroom broth. Taste correction, turn off the fire
  • 3. Add the previously boiled macaroni. Stir well
  • 4. Pour into the tin, smooth. Then break the eggs one by one on top. Add basil leaves and chopped tomatoes, cayenne pepper
  • 5. Put in the preheated steamer. Steam for 30-40 minutes, medium heat.
  • 6. Cook, remove from the steamer. Ready to be served warm with chili sauce
