What Does Spaghetti Brulee Mean?

The baked spaghetti brulee is a recipe mix of spaghetti bolognese and bechamel sauce that is baked into a creamy pasta dish. Bechamel itself is one of the five main French-style sauces that are white in color.

Spaghetti Brulee Ingredients

  • 200gr spaghetti
  • 315gr bolognese sauce
  • 150gr ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 small size onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp bbq sauce
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp powdered mushroom stock
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp margarine/cooking oil (for frying)
  • 100 ml liquid milk

Bechamel sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour
  • 600ml liquid milk
  • 120gr white cheddar cheese / red cheddar quickmelt cheese / grated mozzarella
  • 1 tsp mushroom stock powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Topping

  • 4 slices of red cheddar cheese
  • Grated quickmelt/mozzarella cheese, to taste

How to Make Spaghetti Brulee

  • 1. Boil spaghetti with a little salt & oil for 8-10 minutes, drain & set aside.
  • 2. Heat margarine, saute garlic & onion until fragrant.
  • 3. Add ground beef, oregano & black pepper. Saute until the meat changes color.
  • 4. Enter the bolognese sauce, bbq sauce, liquid milk & seasoning. Cook until boiling.
  • 5. Add the spaghetti, stir until well mixed with the bolognese sauce. Set aside.
  • 6. Stir-fry the flour using butter over low heat, stir-fry until the flour is cooked.
  • 7. Add all the remaining ingredients for the bechamel sauce, cook until it just explodes (don't make it thick, because after it cools down a bit, the sauce will thicken and the sauce will melt after baking). Taste correction.
  • 8. Put the spaghetti in a non-heated dish, then pour the bechamel sauce on top and add the topping.
  • 9. Oven with a temperature of 200 until the cheese topping is slightly burned.
  • 10. Serve while warm.
