Material Tteokgalbi

  • 300 gr sirloin beef, minced
  • 2 cloves of grated garlic
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 cm grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons grated apple / pear / yam
  • 1 stalk of spring onion
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp mirin (you can skip it)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt if needed
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • Chopped walnuts for garnish (I used almonds)

Sauce (Mixed)

  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

How to Make Tteokgalbi

  • 1 Mix all the tteokgalbi ingredients, mix well Let stand for 30 min
  • 2 Shape the dough into oval shape, put it in a frying pan that has been greased with oil, cook on low heat, and turn when the bottom is cooked
  • 3 Brush with sauce, put chopped walnuts on top. Serve
