Ingredients for Geprek Dory Fish with Sambal Matah

  • 1 piece of dory fish fillet
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Marinate and let stand for a while.

Wet Coating Material

  • 1 tablespoon ready-to-use seasoning flour (not typed in the video)😫
  • 50 ml water

Dry Coating

  • 2 Tbsp Seasoned Flour Ready to Use

Sambal Matah

  • 3 cloves of red onion
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 3 curly red chilies
  • 8 red chilies
  • 2 lbs lime leaves
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp mushroom stock
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp hot oil
  • Mix and mix well.

How to Make Geprek Sambal Matah Dory Fish

  • 1. Dip the fish into the wet flour then into the dry flour, again with the wet flour, again with the dry flour (so it's 2x each)
  • 2. Fry in enough hot oil until golden brown, remove and drain.
  • 3. Geprek and put sambal matah on it. Enjoy with rice while it's still hot, enjoy
