Can Gyoza be Fried?

Gyoza can be made in many forms and cooked in different ways to achieve different flavors. Some very popular cooking methods are pan-fried, steamed, plain fried, deep-fried or boiled.

Ingredients

  • Enough gyoza skin
  • 35g cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Puree Material

  • 250gr chicken (thigh part to make it more juicy)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1/2 tsp stock powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 5 pcs curly red chili
  • 5 pcs cayenne pepper
  • 200ml water
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • Salt, sugar to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (dissolved)
  • Lime juice / vinegar to eat

How to Make Sauce

  • Puree Garlic And Chili. Then Cook With Water Until It Boils And No Longer Smell Of Chili. Add the Sambal Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Salt, Sugar and mix well. Then add the cornstarch solution and stir until thickened. Lastly, add the lime juice. Stir Turn Off Fire.

How to make

  • 1. Mix the smooth ingredients, with the cabbage, scallions and cornstarch stir until all is well blended.
  • 2. Then prepare 1 sheet of gyoza skin, fill it with dough and then brush the edges with water. Glue and shape. Do it until it's all gone
  • 3. Fry in hot oil on medium heat. Fry until brown. Lift drain.
