Ingredients for Pindang Fish Balado

  • 2 pieces of cuwe pindang fish, clean
  • powdered broth to taste
  • salt to taste
  • right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 5 large red chilies
  • 2 Spring onions
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • tomato

How to Make Balado

  • 1. Fried cuwe pindang fish until dry and cooked
  • 2. Heat the oil, stir-fry the ground spices until fragrant and cooked
  • 3. add the powdered stock and salt, mix well.. check the taste, if it's just right.. add the pindang fish
  • 4. Stir until all parts are mixed with spices.. Remove and serve

Ingredients for Pindang Fish Head Sauce

  • 2 fish heads
  • 15 pieces of green chili
  • 10 pieces of red chili
  • 2 Spring onions
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • red tomatoes
  • 2 cm grilled shrimp paste
  • 1 lime
  • powdered broth to taste
  • salt to taste
  • right amount of oil

How to make

  • 1. Fry the pindang head until it is dry and crispy
  • 2. Fry the chilies, onions, tomatoes until wilted.. then grind together with the shrimp paste, stock powder and salt until smooth
  • 3. Enter the pindang head, then pulverize until smooth.. pour in the lime juice.. mix well
  • 4. chili is ready to be served
