Opor Tofu

opor tofu

Ingredient

  • 10 pieces of tofu pong/skinned
  • 65 ml instant coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Ground spices

  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 10 cloves of red onion
  • 3 hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp fine coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 slices of ginger

Seasoning Leaves

  • 1 lemongrass stalk, crushed
  • 2 segments of galangal, geprek
  • 2 lime leaves

How to cook

  • 1. Heat the oil. stir-fry the ground spices until fragrant & release the oil after that the seasoning leaves until cooked then add the tofu. stir well.
  • 2. Add coconut milk, salt, sugar and mix well. Cook until the coconut milk recedes and thickens, the chicken is tender and cooked. taste correction. Serve.
