Ingredient

  • 1 board cut into matchsticks
  • 1 ounce salted anchovies halved 2
  • 20 pcs cayenne pepper mixed into pieces
  • 5 cloves of sliced ​​red onion
  • 2 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • Salt, mushroom broth, sugar, water to taste

The method

  • 1. Soak the salted eggplant in warm water for 10 minutes then rinse with clean water and drain. Fry until crispy/dry
  • 2. Fry the tempeh pieces until golden brown, remove and drain
  • 3. Saute the onion & chili pieces until fragrant, add enough water, add salt, mushroom stock, sugar, sweet soy sauce, mix well
  • 4. Cook until the spices are cooked, add the fried tempeh, stir-fried anchovies, mix well, adjust the taste.
  • 5. Remove and serve with warm rice
