Tempe Mendoan Purwokerto Ingredients

  • 10 special tempeh for prayer
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of red onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp mushroom stock powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 gr wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp munjung rice flour
  • Enough water
  • Right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 hazelnuts
  • 1 turmeric finger
  • 1 knuckle kencur
  • 1 tsp coriander

How to Make Tempe Mendoan Purwokerto

  • 1. Mix all ingredients & spices (except tempeh & cooking oil), stir until well blended & smooth (dough is a bit thick).
  • 2. Heat the cooking oil.
  • 3. Dip the tempeh into the flour mixture, then fry for a while (not too cooked). Lift & drain.
  • 4. Serve.
