How to make

  • 1. Rice: stir-fry shallots, garlic, bay leaves, lime leaves and lemongrass until fragrant, remove from heat.
  • 2. Put the rice in the rice cooker, add the stir fry spices, coconut milk, salt and powdered stock, mix well. Cook until well done. Set aside.
  • 3. Stir-fry: stir-fry the sliced ​​spices until fragrant, add Pempek and a little water.
  • 4. Add sugar, salt, powdered broth and petai and stir until the spices are absorbed. Add basil, stir and remove.
  • 5. Prepare banana leaves, take enough rice, add stir-fry ingredients, wrap neatly and pin both sides with toothpicks.
  • 6. Bake on a teflon or grill until both sides are browned. Lift and serve.
