How to Make Sweet and Sour Shrimp
- 1. Clean the prawns, drain the lime juice, let stand 15 minutes, then rinse. Remove the head, peel the skin, leaving the tail.
- 2. Coat the prawns with seasoning flour (or follow the directions on the package), then fry until golden brown, set aside.
- 3. Saute garlic & onions until cooked, then add a little water. Add carrots, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, pepper powder, salt & sugar, stir. After boiling, add the scallions, stir, then add the cornstarch solution, stir until slightly thickened then turn off the heat.
- 4. Mix the prawns with the sauce, then serve.
