Woku Eggs

Ingredients

  • 7 chicken eggs, boiled & fried until crusty
  • 1 tomato, diced 0
  • 1 spring onion, cut into large pieces (according to your taste)
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, crushed
  • 2 lime leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pandan leaf, tie a knot
  • 1 sheet of turmeric leaf, finely sliced
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • Salt, sugar & mushroom broth, to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying
  • Enough water

Ground spices

  • 7 cloves of red onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 pieces of curly red chili
  • 5 pieces of red chili
  • 2 hazelnuts
  • 1 finger ginger
  • 1 turmeric finger

How to make

  • 1. Heat the oil, stir-fry the ground spices until fragrant, add the leeks, lemongrass, lime leaves, pandan leaves & turmeric leaves, stir-fry again until fragrant.
  • 2. Add tomatoes, saute until wilted.
  • 3. Add water, add eggs, salt, powdered broth & sugar.
  • 4. Cook until the spices are absorbed & the water is reduced, adjust the taste.
  • 5. Finally add the basil leaves, stir briefly.
  • 6. Serve.
