Yellow Opor Material

  • 1⁄2 free-range chicken, cut into 2
  • 1 pack of coconut milk
  • Fried onions

Ground spices

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 7 cloves of red onion
  • 2 stalks of candlenut
  • 2 rs ginger
  • 1 rs of turmeric
  • 1⁄2 tbsp coriander

Other Seasonings

  • 3 lbs of lime leaves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • 2 rs of galangal (I ran out so I skipped)
  • 1⁄2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp mushroom broth
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Note: the amount of seasoning is adjusted according to the number of ingredients used

How to Make Yellow Opor

  • 1. Prepare all the spices then stir-fry all the spices together with lime leaves, bay leaves and galangal until cooked and cooked
  • 2. Add the free-range chicken and mix well
  • 3. Give enough water, add salt, sugar, mushroom broth and let it soften until the water is a bit sat.
  • 4 Dilute the coconut milk with 300 ml of water, then add it to the chicken and mix well
  • 5. Adjust the taste and ready to serve with a sprinkling of fried onions
