Ingredient

  • 4 Eggplants (You are free to use white, purple or green eggplant)

Sauce Ingredients

  • 7 cloves of garlic, finely grated
  • 5 pieces of curly red chili, cut into small pieces
  • 1 spring onion, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp mushroom stock
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 7 tbsp light soy sauce (me: Singkawang salty soy sauce with "Kambing")

How to make

  • 1. Steam the eggplant for 15 minutes/until cooked.
  • 2. Mix all the sauce ingredients.
  • 3. Tear the eggplant lengthwise and mix well with the soy sauce. Ready to be enjoyed with hot rice 😍
