Ingredient

  • 1 tempeh board, cut
  • 1 large white tofu, cut
  • 4 pieces of chicken
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 segments of galangal, geprek
  • 1 tsp tamarind
  • 600ml water (can be added in the middle of the cooking process)
  • right amount of oil

Ground spices

  • 2 tsp coriander, toasted
  • 8 red onions
  • 3 garlics
  • 2 pieces of Javanese sugar

Method

  • • Mix water, ground spices, galangal, bay leaf, tamarind, add chicken when the water is boiling, cook on low heat until chicken is tender, then add tempeh and tofu, cook until water is absorbed and dry, remove.
  • • Fry chicken, tempeh, tofu until browned, remove and serve warm.
